The latest push of Canadian air will settle over Pittsburgh and all of western Pennsylvania, western Maryland and northern West Virginia during the first part of this week.
The pattern has the potential to bring the chilliest mornings of the season so far. Frost will visit the normally colder spots of the area Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will dip well down into the upper 30s over the countryside and well down into the 40s the urban areas.
If you are heading to PNC Park to enjoy some late-season Pirates baseball during the evenings through Wednesday, bring a jacket, sweatshirt or sweater and where long sleeves.

There is the potential for fog developing early Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Commuters who drive may want to allow some extra travel time as a result.

Temperatures are forecast to rebound to or above seasonable levels later in the week, ahead of another push of cool air later this coming weekend.
Unfortunately, for folks with outdoor plans, the next chance of rain is during the weekend as that cool front moves through the region.
