An Autumnlike Weekend for Harrisburg

The weather this weekend around Harrisburg and the balance of central and southern Pennsylvania will be bright, crisp and cool.
For ballgames, especially football, conditions will be ideal with low humidity, a clear sky and below-average temperatures. The nights will be chilly and definitely will require long sleeves, jackets and sweaters.

Highs will be in the 70s for the Ravens home opener at M&T Bank Stadium and the Eagles home opener at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday.
Rain will stay away from the region Saturday and Sunday, but a little is in the offing for the Redskins versus Packers game at Green Bay, Wis., Sunday.
The only potential travel problem will be the chance of patchy early morning fog over the river valleys.

The next chance of widely separated showers will not be until Monday, when a weak cool front will cross the area.
