The latest Canadian air mass will moderate over Pittsburgh and all of western Pennsylvania, western Maryland and northern West Virginia during the balance of this week.
Afternoon temperatures will rebound into the 70s Wednesday and Thursday and could touch 80 degrees on Friday.
If you are heading to PNC Park to enjoy some late-season Pirates baseball during the evenings through Wednesday, bring a jacket, sweatshirt or sweater and where long sleeves.
There is the potential for fog developing early Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Commuters who drive may want to allow some extra travel time as a result.

As slightly more humid air begins to work into the region Thursday, there is the chance of stray shower.
A better chance for showers and thunderstorms exists Friday into Saturday as a cool front moves slowly through the region. Folks heading to PNC Park Friday and Saturday may want to tout a rain poncho.
