- Yuma, AZ, was soaked with 1.10 inch of rain, and by the 10th of the
month had received 4.43 inches, making it the wettest December of

- Birmingham, AL, was drenched with 9.22 inches of rain in 24 hours.
The rains caused severe flash flooding which literally submerged
