Stormy weather across Germany will continue this weekend with daily rain and thunderstorms in southern and western parts of the country.
More than 100 people across the country were injured by lightning strikes over the past two weekends, according to the BBC, and that threat will be renewed this weekend.

Outdoor plans will be in jeopardy as showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the morning and afternoon of both days.
Areas from Dusseldorf and Cologne to Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich will be at risk for daily thunderstorms and periods of rain.
Slow movement of the thunderstorms will result in the threat for flash flooding on Saturday and Sunday. The greatest threat will be in areas that have received heavy rainfall over the past two weeks.
One of the hardest-hit locations, Friedrichshafen, has reported more than 200 mm (8 inches) of rain since May 28.
This weekend, downpours can result in 25-50 mm (1-2 inches) of rain in a short time period causing rivers and streams to rise quickly and leading to travel delays.
