Showers moved across the French Alps on Saturday, threatening to create hazards for cyclists as the conclusion of the Tour de France approaches.
The final stage on Sunday will move to Paris, where rain may once again await cyclists and spectators.
While the start of the final stage is expected to be dry during the morning, low pressure rapidly approaching the region will bring clouds and showers by the afternoon.
Unlike previous days, thunder is not expected, but riders may still have to contend with wet road conditions
The one advantage to the wetter weather is that the intense heat the cyclists endured during the other stages across southern France will be absent.

Temperatures during the start of the stage during the morning are expected to be near 13 C (55 F). With the showers and clouds expected, high temperatures will only reach 21 C (69 F). Wind is not expected to be a factor as it remains fairly light out of the south.
