Pleasant weather conditions and near-normal temperatures will hold through Thursday in the Chicago area.
Residents looking to get outdoors will have sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. A common high temperature for this time of year is 84 F.
White Sox fans headed to U.S. Cellular Field will not have to worry about weather delays for Wednesday night's game against the Cardinals.
It will become slightly more humid on Friday and there will be a small chance for a shower or thunderstorm late Friday night, AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Kottlowski said.
"Saturday has the chance to be warm and humid as well," Kottlowski said, adding that a shower or thunderstorm could develop throughout the day.
Any chance for wet weather will likely end by Saturday, as Kottlowski said Sunday is expected to be dry.
