Seattle: Extended Period of Sun and Warmth

An extended period of sunshine is in store for the Seattle area as rain remains out of the forecast.
"A high pressure system will build over the region through Monday, bringing plenty of sunshine to the area," said AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline.
It will start to turn very warm Sunday and into early this week, Mussoline said.

Temperatures will continue to increase as the new week begins. Monday will see temperatures in the low 80s with sunny skies.
Highs will remain in the low 80s through Thursday and each day will see mostly sunny skies. Normals highs for this time of year are in the mid-70s.
Overnight lows will hover around 60 F through Thursday.
