NYC: Low Humidity to Keep Rain Away Into Weekend

Drier air will settle into the New York City area into the weekend in the wake of flooding downpours during the first part of the week.
While record chill will stay in the Midwest, the weather pattern through Saturday will offer low humidity, some sunshine and cooler-than-average temperatures for July.
The weather will be ideal for most outdoor activities ranging from jogging, swimming and Yankees baseball to construction, yard work and painting projects.

Storm-free weather with tranquil winds and waves is forecast for the Brooklyn Bridge Swim on Sunday.
Temperatures at night into the weekend will dip into the 50s in the northern and western suburbs but will stop in the 60s in urban areas and at the beach.

The risk of thunderstorm activity will increase next week as temperature and humidity levels gradually increase.
AccuWeather meteorologists will be monitoring an area of disturbed weather and tropical moisture along the Atlantic coast this weekend. There is a chance that this moisture could spread a period of clouds and rain to the mid-Atlantic to the beaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
