As Minneapolis prepares to host the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby and All-Star Game this week, temperatures will be reminiscent of autumn.
Monday looks to be the coolest day for quite some time in Minneapolis as temperatures only reach the 60s, well below the normal high of 84 F.
Those headed to the Home Run Derby on Monday night can expect cool weather with temperatures on Monday night dropping in the 50s. There is also the chance for a passing shower in the area.

Dry conditions will also be the story for fans headed to the game on Tuesday, with highs staying just above the 70-degree mark around game time before dropping into the mid-60s through the evening. The game is set to begin shortly after 7 p.m. CDT.

Temperatures will gradually return to near normal during the second half of the week as the pool of cool air responsible for the lower temperatures shifts to the north and east.
Dry conditions will also stick around through the rest of the week with the exception of a spotty shower on Friday.
