LIVE: Severe Storms Continue to Rumble Across South Central US

A line of violent thunderstorms will continue racing into eastern Texas and western Louisiana through Wednesday night.
"Storms are racing south through eastern Texas and extreme western Louisiana," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Carl Erickson said. "Along the leading edge of the storms there can be strong, damaging wind gusts followed by flooding downpours."

2:16 p.m. Wednesday CDT: Even though the line of severe storms is currently over northern Arkansas, the steering winds in the upper levels of the atmosphere will cause the thunderstorms to head to the southwest, instead of some fashion to the east which is more typical, AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said. "Those in Dallas should not let their guard down as the thunderstorms are bearing down on Little Rock."
