Cooler Temperatures Ahead for Detroit

After showers and thunderstorm come through the area on Monday, Detroit will see a period of slightly cooler temperatures for much of the week.
The severe weather threat on Monday will consist of heavy, gusty thunderstorms moving through the area in the afternoon. The chance for a brief shower will extend into the evening hours.
The chance for a thunderstorm will remain on Tuesday, but it will also be cooler as temperatures hover around 70 F.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are around 83 F.
Overnight lows will remain in the mid-50s through Wednesday. It will remain cool on Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the low 70s and times of clouds and sun with a shower possible in the afternoon.

Temperatures will slightly increase on Thursday, as partly sunny conditions persist. Highs will be in the mid-70s.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the 70s up until the weekend.
