Rain is expected to make a return to the Bay Area by the weekend, just in time for game 4 of the World Series.
Warm conditions will precede the weekend rain with evening temperatures near 70 F.
Baseball fans heading to Game 3 of the World Series on Friday evening shouldn't have to worry about rain; however, a shower or two may move into the area during the second half of Friday night.
Saturday looks to be a cloudy, wet and windy day around San Francisco and northward up the coast of California.
Saturday could turn out to be the rainiest day in the city since Sept. 25 when 0.41 of an inch of rain fell.
Those headed to Game 4 of the World Series Saturday night might want to take their rain gear with them as Saturday's rain is forecast to linger into the overnight hours.
