As the World Series returns to Kansas City for Game 6 on Tuesday evening, cooler weather will return as well.
The temperature at first pitch, just after 7:00 p.m. local time, will be around 54 degrees with a light breeze out of the west-northwest. By the ninth inning, temperatures will drop to a chilly 48 degrees.
Rain will not be a concern as dry air builds in behind a cold front moving through on Monday night. After seeing plenty of sunshine on Tuesday, the sky will be mainly clear for the game on Tuesday evening.
The cooldown will be a change following a weekend that featured near record-high temperatures, with the mercury reaching 85 degrees on Sunday.
