On Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, the first of a series of winter storms barreled through the
Northeast I-95 corridor, dumping snow from Washington, D.C., to New York City, and Boston, Mass.
The snowstorm buried New York City under eight inches of snow, while
nearby cities Bristol, Conn., and Providence, R.I., received 3.5 inches.
Regardless of the snow totals, thousands flights were delayed or
canceled at airports throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
