The same storm that spawned damaging thunderstorms and even a few tornadoes across the Deep South on Monday will continue to push eastward into Tuesday afternoon.
Four people were killed in Rehobeth, Alabama, on Monday after severe thunderstorms ripped through the town, according to the Associated Press.While the threat for severe weather has diminished greatly since Monday, interests from the coastal waters of the Carolinas and Georgia to the Florida Peninsula should be aware of the potential for rapidly changing weather conditions into Tuesday afternoon.
The most far-reaching impacts will be sudden downpours, lightning strikes and shifting winds.

Motorists should watch for ponding of water along Interstate 4, I-75 and I-95.
Quieter and much cooler weather will move into the region on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a potential storm with more wintry conditions from Friday to Saturday.
