After comfortable and nice conditions for most of this week, Atlanta area residents can expect humidity to return for the weekend.
AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Danielle Knittle said by Friday, "humidity really starts to ramp back up."
Still, even with the increase in humidity, Knittle said daytime highs are still going to be a few degrees below normal with highs in the low 80s through Sunday.
The normal high temperature for this time of year is 88 F.
Beginning Thursday, the area will dodge afternoon showers and thunderstorms through Sunday. The chance of storms will continue into the evening hours each day.
