While the month of March started on a wet note in Southern California, dry weather has prevailed since and parched conditions are likely to continue through the week.
High pressure located in the eastern Pacific will keep the region rain-free and mainly sunny to start the week.

High temperatures should range from near 70 at the coast to middle 70s farther inland through Wednesday.

A few weak disturbances sliding by to the north could spread a few clouds across the area but most days will be mainly sunny.
Unfortunately, a prolonged stretch of wet weather is not expected any time soon and as the seasons change, an extended period of rain becomes less likely.
