Up to 6.7 inches of snow was reported, with the highest amount coming from Bayard, W.Va., according to an NWS cooperative observer.
More than an inch of rain fell in Washington, D.C. Another 2.34 inches was reported by a spotter near Green Haven, Md., in Anne Arundel County, where flooding was also reported.
More than 650 flights had been canceled by Sunday evening with another 6,000 delayed due to the weather, according to FlightStats.
Numerous vehicle crashes were also reported across the mid-Atlantic region as the storm continued to spin through.
