Temperatures will average near to above normal through much of the coming weekend around Pittsburgh.
Come Tuesday, March will be but a memory, as will much of the chill and lingering wintry weather for the area.
High temperatures will range from the upper 50s to the upper 60s.
The typical high for the city during early April is 57 F.
The storm responsible for the chill and areas of rain, snow and thunderstorms this past weekend will continue to move away. Mild air from the southwest will take its place.
The week will not be entirely free of rain, however.
As a cool front moves through on Wednesday, a couple of showers are in the offing.
Rounds of rain are forecast Thursday through Friday.
Another cool front will cross the region Saturday with spotty showers and perhaps a thunderstorm.
