"This past weekend, Detroit saw a lot of snow," AccuWeather meteorologist Erik Pindrock said. With a total snowfall of 4-5 inches through Saturday and Sunday, the snow will taper off as the temperatures begin to rise.
A chance of snow is possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but mainly flurries without any major accumulations.
Temperatures will stay in the low 20s through Tuesday. By Wednesday, Detroit should see temperatures approach the mid-20s.

Thursday will continue the trend as temperatures will hit freezing and stay in the mid-30s throughout the weekend. Despite the higher temperatures, the city is still experiencing colder air than usual.
"Temperatures are still below average, so it's still seasonably cold," Pindrock said.
