After a spell of cooler temperatures early in the week, Atlanta will see a steady increase as highs approach the low 70s into the weekend.
"Thursday is going to be another nice day with highs in the mid-60s, sunny skies and high pressure overhead," AccuWeather.Com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said.
Temperatures will climb a few degrees higher by Friday.

Edwards added that moisture will begin to increase in the area Saturday.
"There will be more clouds in the area and there may be a shower, " he said.
Temperatures will dip back into the 60s late in the weekend.
"It will turn cooler on Sunday with a period of rain likely," Edwards said,
