Winter Storm Gregory is finishing up its coast-to-coast journey by bringing snow and some ice to northern New England into Wednesday.

Seattle picked up 3 inches of snow early Jan. 1 as Gregory made its way into the Northwest.
In the northern Plains, up to 14 inches of snow piled up in Wilton, North Dakota, Sunday into Monday. Fargo and Bismarck, North Dakota, both saw more than a half foot of snow from Gregory.

Forecast: Tuesday Night-Wednesday
The National Weather Service has posted winter storm warnings in northern Maine and freezing rain advisories for parts of Vermont and northeastern New York.Winter Weather Alerts
The heaviest additional snow is likely to be in northern Maine where it will continue into Wednesday, with storm totals of 6 to 12 inches likely.
Freezing rain will impact portions of interior northern New England and northeastern New York leading to slick travel. Scattered power outages are also possible where localized heavier ice accumulations occur on power lines and tree branches.
Behind Gregory, lake-effect snow will develop Tuesday night across the upper Great Lakes, spreading into the lower Great Lakes snowbelts late in the day Wednesday.

Light icing from Gregory was reported in Reading, Pennsylvania, and at Somerset Airport in New Jersey on Monday morning.
