Christmas is right around the corner, and those looking to shop over the weekend across the United Kingdom may face slow travel and delays.
A dry weekend is in store for most of the U.K., but motorists may have to deal with fog during the weekend.
Locally dense fog and low cloud ceilings may reduce visibility on Saturday and Sunday morning from London to Cardiff, as well as in Belfast.

Those who have plans may need to allow for extra time.
“There is a possibility that the fog extends past the morning and into the afternoon in some places,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys said.
For places where the fog does dissipate, afternoons will feature broken clouds and should actually turn out rather pleasant for shoppers.

However, Scotland will have to contend with precipitation. A series of storm systems will unfold over the weekend and bring showery spells and clouds.
High pressure located over Southern England will keep those weather systems away to the north, keeping the region dry.
Following a mild week across the U.K., temperatures will fall to normal during each afternoon.
