French election: Rain to linger across the south on Sunday

Following several days of unsettled weather, improving conditions are expected across France on Sunday.
As millions of people head out to vote in the presidential election on Sunday, dry and mild weather will prevail over northern France.
Skies will feature a mixture of clouds and sunshine from Nantes to Paris with the best of sunshine near the northern coastline including Lille.

Temperatures will climb to 17-20 C (62-68 F) with slightly cooler air at the immediate coastline.
Farther south, a storm will bring a soaking rain to the southern half of France on Saturday with lingering rainfall into Sunday.

Scattered showers will dampen the day from Bordeaux to Toulouse and Marseille.
While the day will not feature constant rainfall, there will be several showers throughout the day.
A more prolonged and steady rain will fall across east-central France including Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand and Grenoble. No widespread travel impacts are expected.
High temperatures will range from 19-22 C (66-72 F) from Bordeaux to Toulouse, Marseille and Nice.
