Wet weather pushes through Philadelphia for the middle of the weekend with cool air to follow.
A cool front slowly moved, but steady eastward progress across the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic for the end of the week, moving to the I-95 Corridor late on Saturday.
A shower or two could linger Sunday morning.
The risk of shower and thunderstorm activity will diminish Sunday around Philadelphia for the first official day of fall and the annual scarecrow festival
Sunday evening will bring clear skies over Citizens Bank Park as the Phillies take on the New York Mets.

Much cooler weather will return for the early part of the week, featuring highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
But by the middle of the week, temperatures will be on the rise, bringing a more summer-like feel with temperatures near 80 by Thursday.
