At 1058 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Cold Spring,
moving east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Danbury, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Sherman, Brewster, Cold Spring,
Newtown, Ridgefield, Monroe, Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield,
Carmel, Fahnestock State Park and Jefferson Valley.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
