Umbrellas will be traded in for shorts and tank tops. Temperatures will trend upward to 26-31 C (79-87 F) on Monday.
Temperatures will either be on the bottom end of the above ranges or even a bit lower across Schleswig-Holstein. However, the weather will be perfect for the start of Kiel Week.
Brightening will necessitate the use of sunscreen and sunglasses at Kiel Week or by anyone with outdoor plans elsewhere in the country.

On Monday, abundant sunshine will bake the country. Remember to never leave a child or pet in a sealed vehicle on a sizzling, sunny day even for a brief errand.
Some clouds and a stray shower or thunderstorm may attempt to bubble up on Monday afternoon across far-northern areas.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase on Tuesday into Wednesday as a cold front sweeps away the heat from north to south. Some of the thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts on Tuesday.
Before the front’s arrival, Tuesday may turn out to be even hotter than Monday across central and southern Germany.
