A cold front will spark gusty showers and thunderstorms across Germany on Tuesday.
A powerful storm system, more typical of winter and early spring, moving into the North Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday will unleash showers and thunderstorms along with strong winds and cooler air.
Showers and thunderstorms will be widespread throughout Germany on Tuesday with the strongest storms producing winds over 80 km/h (50 mph).
Following the frontal passage, strong winds will blow Tuesday night into Wednesday, with the strongest winds expected in western and northern parts of the country.
Frequent wind gusts over 50 km/h (30 mph) will occur with occasional gusts to 65 km/h (40 mph) from Stuttgart to Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg.
The combination of thunderstorms and gusty winds could result in some minor travel delays.
Showers and thunderstorms will again be a threat across Germany on Wednesday, but much of the day will be dry in any given location.
High temperatures will range from 14-19 C (57-66 F) on Wednesday, the lowest readings for some areas since early May.
The combination of cooler air and gusty winds will make it feel more like April than June.
