The recent stretch of unsettled weather across the United Kingdom will continue through the weekend.
A slow-moving storm system will bring periods of rain and gusty winds to much of the United Kingdom from Friday through Sunday.
Rain will spread over England, Wales and Northern Ireland on Friday with several hours of rain expected in London, Cardiff and Belfast.
While the rain is not expected to produce any widespread flooding problems, slower travel is possible due to road conditions.
The rain will also dampen any outdoor plans, resulting in the need for a jacket, brolly and wellies.
As rain spreads into northern England, it may mix with snow on the hills with small accumulations possible Friday night. Low levels are expected to avoid any snowfall.
A largely dry day is expected across Scotland on Friday before the threat for showers increases during the weekend.
No widespread damaging winds are expected with this storm system; however, gusty winds will accompany the storm from Friday through Sunday with occasional gusts over 30 mph (48 km/h).

2017 UK spring forecast: Winter to linger throughout March as chilly air persists
Temperatures will hover near normal levels through the weekend. High temperatures will range from 8-10 degrees Celsius (46-50 degrees Fahrenheit) in the south and 6-8 C (42-46 F) elsewhere.
Despite near-normal temperatures, the lack of sunshine combined with rain and gusty winds will make it feel quite chilly even during the afternoon hours.
Additional threats for rain and gusty winds are expected next week as the current unsettled weather pattern continues.
