Dry and Cool for Stage 6 of the Tour de France on Thursday

Showers caused wet surfaces and aided in some crashes on Wednesday during Stage 5 of the Tour de France.
Thursday's Stage 6 of the Tour de France will take cyclists from Abbeville to La Havre, as the racing continues across northern France.
High pressure will build over the region resulting in dry weather with partly sunny skies.

Temperatures will reach only 18-29 C (64-67 F) during the day on Thursday with a light to moderate northwest wind.
High pressure will continue to be in control across France on Friday resulting in dry weather for Stage 7 which will take place between Livarot and Fougeres.

Winds will turn more southerly on Friday allowing temperatures to rise. Temperatures throughout the stage are expected to range from 24-27 C (76-80 F).
Dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend across the majority of France as the Tour de France continues with stages 8 and 9.
