Mother Nature will show no mercy for the Boston area into next week as waves of dangerous cold air will be accompanied by a storm that could produce another heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions.
Following a nuisance snowfall from Thursday, the first of two frigid blasts will sweep into the area into Friday night, creating very harsh weather for event the hardiest New Englanders.
AccuWeather.com RealFeel® Temperatures will plunge well below zero with actual temperatures dipping to the zero-degree Fahrenheit mark Friday morning, due to dry arctic air and an unforgiving wind.
An Alberta Clipper will move in during the Valentine's Day weekend.

In addition to bringing the risk of yet another major snowstorm, it will pack bitterly cold air and increasing wind as the storm strengthens tremendously just offshore.
Life-threatening conditions are likely to develop for those who get caught without shelter or stranded on the road, even if a moderate amount of snow falls.
