Following cold temperatures, springlike weather will return to Cleveland for the early weekend, before wintry air once again returns.
Jumping nearly 30 degrees Thursday to Friday, temperatures will reach into the 50s on Friday. It will feel like springtime in the city, despite some rain showers and wind in the area.

While Saturday will be about 10 degrees colder, sunshine and temperatures in the 40s will still provide some relief to residents and visitors. However, Saturday night, temperatures will drop into the teens making way for Old Man Winter to return.
For St. Patrick's Day, cold air will plague the city as celebrations occur. Those planning on being outdoors should wear the proper layers as highs will be in the low 20s.

The cold will remain in the city through Monday with sleet and freezing rain possible late Monday night. Icy conditions are possible as sleet may freeze on the roads, creating possible hazards for the Tuesday morning commute.
Heading into the bulk of next week, temperatures will once again rise into the 40s, where they will remain for most of the week, but some snow showers may occur over the city Tuesday.
