Following an icy start to the week, dry and mild weather is set to make a return to the Dallas area.
Temperatures will continue to rise each of the next several days, eventually climbing into the 70s by the weekend.
Abundant sunshine will accompany this warmer weather with cloud-free skies in the forecast each day through Sunday.
Heading into next week, temperatures will hover around the 70-degree mark, accompanied by at least partly sunny skies.

While temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees through next week, the city's next chance for clouds and some spotty showers will come on Thursday and Friday.
