The winter storm that affected Atlanta through much of this week has left the region, allowing for milder, warmer weather to return.
Although the winter weather has departed the area, travel delays are still likely with power outages remaining a big concern.
As of Friday afternoon, more than 78,000 electric customers were without power across the entire state of Georgia.
