The midwinter chill that moved into the area this week will be a distant memory this weekend.
The tranquil weather will complement walks to nearby parks and restaurants. It would be a great time for sightseers to visit Old City and everything else Philadelphia has to offer. However, an umbrella could come in handy.
While much of the weekend will be rain free, a couple of passing showers are possible. Clouds may limit sunshine both days.
Temperatures will peak near 60 degrees on Saturday. On Sunday, highs will be well into the 60s.
It's shaping up to be a mild start Sunday for those participating in the Philadelphia Marathon with temperatures around the mid 50s for the start of the race.
A storm will bring a steady, wind-driven rain to the city late Sunday night into Monday morning.
