Historically speaking, there is over a 75 percent chance of a white Christmas from most of Montana on east through the Upper Midwest and into northern New England. This area also includes the Rocky Mountains. It is rare to see a white Christmas along the Middle Atlantic coast and over the lower Ohio Valley.
