Several rounds of rainfall and locally gusty winds will impact the United Kingdom into the weekend.
The first in the series of Atlantic storms will produce a period of rain and gusty winds across the U.K. that will last into Wednesday morning.
Wind gusts of 30-40 mph (48-65 km/h) are possible across northern Wales, Northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland along with 6-18 mm (0.24-0.71 of an inch) of rain.
Wind gusts of 40 mph (65 km/h) will accompany the rain.
Another threat for rainfall will spread from southwest to northeast across the U.K. Thursday afternoon into Friday.
The steadiest rain will fall from Thursday night into Friday across Northern Ireland and Scotland while occasional showers dampen areas farther south and east.
Another storm will set its sights on the U.K. this weekend continuing the threat for showers and gusty winds.

Showers will bring several hours of wet weather to most locations over the weekend, though no widespread travel disruption is expected.
Gusty winds will accompany the showers with numerous gusts near 30 mph (48 km/h) both Saturday and Sunday.
The long-range weather pattern will continue the threat for Atlantic storms to bring rounds of rain and gusty winds to the U.K. into the second half of March.
