Tropical Storm Nicole Spinning in the Atlantic

October 4,2016 Tropical Storm Nicole formed Tuesday morning and is now located over 500 miles northeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is in the central Atlantic Ocean, well to the east of Hurricane Matthew.
Unlike Matthew, Nicole will not impact the United States.
Here's the latest from the National Hurricane Center:
  • Tropical Storm Nicole was located more than 500 miles northeast of San Juan, Puerto Rico, as of Tuesday evening.
  • Wind shear should keep Nicole from strengthening. 
  • This system is no threat to the U.S. mainland.
  • Nicole will move toward Bermuda, but should eventually turn back south while weakening late this week.
