Following a very warm September, chilly air will settle over Germany this week along with some showers.
Average high temperatures this week will be the lowest since April as cool air from Scandinavia dives southward.
High temperatures from Wednesday through Sunday will peak around 13 C (55 F) in Berlin.

It will feel even colder in Munich where temperatures will struggle to climb above 10 C (50 F) several days this week.
Frankfurt, which recorded an average temperature of 4.6 degrees C (8.2 F) above normal for the month of September, will fail to reach temperatures around the normal high of 15.6 C (60 F) late this week.
Accompanying the chilly air, showers will be scattered across Germany each day through the weekend.
The most widespread showers will occur across the eastern half of the country as a storm system spins over Poland and Belarus.

"Showers across eastern Germany midweek into the later part of the week will originate from the Baltic Sea and travel south-southwest," AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys said.
"This pattern will also result in periods of thick clouds, lasting the longest in northern and eastern Germany," he said.
This cool and unsettled pattern is expected to continue into next week across all of Germany.
