Strong thunderstorms will threaten central and southern Germany this Sunday.
Outdoor plans will be in jeopardy across all of Germany on Sunday as a cold front triggers showers and thunderstorms.
"The thunderstorms could become strong to severe in central and southern Germany, especially in the afternoon and into the evening," AccuWeather Meteorologist Tyler Roys said.
"There is the threat that these thunderstorms could produce damaging winds, hail and flash flooding," he said.
Cloud cover will likely prevent the violent thunderstorms from being as widespread as last weekend. Still, residents should be on alert.
Sunday's risk zone encompasses Frankfurt, Saarbrücken, Wolfsburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart and Nuremberg into the evening.
Those planning to attend the Fall Folk Festival in Nuremberg, the Rheingau Wine Festival in Frankfurt or Reichsstadt Festival in Rothenburg should monitor AccuWeather MinuteCast® and be prepared to seek shelter.

While the strongest storms will threaten the above cities, lightning from the thunderstorms elsewhere in Germany on Sunday could force people indoors. Thunderstorms can turn briefly gusty in Berlin, Dresden and Munich on Sunday evening.
Winds from the north to northwest following the strong thunderstorms will provide heat relief into early next week, Roys said.
Showers will linger into Monday with temperatures near to below normal. The cloudiest, wettest and coolest conditions will likely be in Bavaria, where highs will be held 3-6 degrees Celsius (5-10 degrees Fahrenheit) below normal.
Roys said sunshine and mild conditions will return around midweek.
