Unsettled weather will continue across the United Kingdom for the duration of the week with cooler air expected to arrive on Friday.
"Low pressure will approach southern England on Thursday causing a little rain," AccuWeather Meteorologist Rob Richards said.
Rain will arrive in London during the afternoon, so those with morning plans should not be affected. However, the afternoon will turn rather damp, and plans may need to be rescheduled.
Despite cloud and rain, mild air will linger in London on Thursday. High temperatures this week have been running above average.
Scotland, including Glasgow, will escape the daytime rain on Thursday. There can be sunny spells in this area while clouds remain to the south. However, showers will arrive on Thursday night.
"An unsettled weather pattern will continue on Friday which will bring scattered showers," Richards said.
Glasgow to Manchester and farther south to London will be at risk for these showers, although they are expected to be light.
Regardless, those heading outside will want to pack an umbrella as it may be needed at times throughout the day.
There will be a risk for an odd thundery shower during the afternoon across the South of England.
The showers will be caused by a cold front that will dip southward across the United Kingdom Friday, reaching London by the evening.
