Despite seasonable temperatures, Germany will face daily showers and thunderstorms from Friday through Sunday.
Three separate storms systems tracking from northern France into northern Germany will bring the threat of daily rainfall.
Those with plans to attend any of the nine Bundesliga matches from Friday through Sunday should be prepared for wet weather.
Lightning may occur in southern areas which could impact the match between FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart as well as the FC Bayern Munich and FC Schalke 04 match.
Ahead of these storms, Thursday will offer the driest weather with a blend of clouds and sunshine. While there can be a few isolated showers, most areas will be dry and any showers will generally last 20 minutes or less.
The unsettled weather will commence on Friday with showers and thunderstorms scattered across the country. The most widespread rainfall is expected from Dusseldorf and Hamburg to Berlin and Dresden.
It will be a rather breezy day from Hanover to Bremen and Hamburg.
Saturday will start off dry for most locations; however, rainfall is expected to begin before midday in Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Cologne. Rain will expand into Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden during the afternoon.
