Several days of unsettled weather will arrive in Chicagoland around the middle of the week, ending a gorgeous six-day stretch of dry and above-average warmth.
"As an area of low pressure approaches the region from the west midweek, temperatures will be noticeably lower," AccuWeather Meteorologist Ed Vallee said.
Days with temperatures near 80 F will come to an end as temperatures will only reach in the low 60s on Tuesday and the mid-60s on Wednesday and Thursday.
T-shirts and shorts will have to be swapped out with light jackets and sweatshirts.
Scattered showers are likely Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with overcast skies. Those who plan on heading outside will want to pack the umbrella.
"During this time, clouds will be fairly widespread with only occasional peeks of sunshine" said Vallee.

The White Sox and Angels series in Chicago may face temporary delays this week due to showers.
While the midweek will be unsettled, showers and clouds look to clear out by the end of the week, allowing sunshine and dry weather to return.
