Warm air will deliver a taste of spring to the Minneapolis area this week.
Temperatures will top the 60-degree-Fahrenheit mark late this week. After a brief dip into the 40s on Wednesday, highs will climb more than 20 degrees above average for this time of year in the second half of the week.

"It'll be bright and sunny late this week, making for a perfect time to get outdoors," AccuWeather Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel said.
Conditions will stay mild over the weekend as well, she said.
"Highs will hit in the upper 50s on Saturday and Sunday," Samuhel said. "Some showers may occur on Saturday night, but conditions should dry out by Sunday."
