Despite the frigid weather from the weekend, the next storm heading for the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, area will bring a significant buildup of ice.
As an area of snow moves into the region, temperatures will rise into the 20s F on Monday, Presidents Day.
An extended period of sleet and freezing rain will occur during Monday night. Travel will be difficult, if not very dangerous. A buildup of ice on trees could lead to power outages.

During Tuesday, winds from the south will allow temperatures to climb well into the 40s, following the single-digit readings from Sunday morning. A change to plain rain will occur.
Enough rain can occur to cause travel delays and poor-drainage area flooding.

The air following the storm will be cooler, when compared to Tuesday, but far from the frigid levels of this past weekend. Highs will be in the 40s during Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
A weak storm could bring a bit of wet snow and rain to the area on Wednesday.
