Weather never stops, and these awesome images just go to show that it's always amazing out there somewhere.
A
storm in Phoenix over the weekend proved just that. It may look like a
tornado, but it's not. It's just a small shower, but the narrow rain
column descending from the cloud formation may have looked like a funnel
cloud from a distance.
In Minnesota, football fans may have been
thinking, "Are you ready for some lightning?" An intense strike eerily
close to TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Saturday night delayed the
Minnesota Vikings' win over the Oakland Raiders, says Fox Sports. Fans
were evacuated and the game was delayed twice for a total of 90 minutes
because of concerns over lightning.
Even our own meteorologists
couldn't resist heading out to look for interesting things in the sky.
Weather.com meteorologist Quincy Vagell was chasing storms in Ohio when
he snapped several photos of shelf clouds near Payne and several more of
rotating wall clouds, from Grover Hill.
Check out these amazing images and more above.
