It will not just be emotions running high around Vancouver, Canada, Sunday afternoon for the final match of the 2015 Women's World Cup, but also temperatures.
The United States is set to face Japan in a rematch of the 2011 Women's World Cup Sunday afternoon at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.

Temperatures will be sizzling around Vancouver and even breaking records when the match kicks off.
Vancouver is set to experience a high near 30 C (85 F) on Sunday, which will break the day's record high of 28 C (82 F) from 1958. Abundant sunshine will help boost temperatures and prompt fans walking around the city prior to the match to wear sunscreen.
Temperatures will be near the day's high at kickoff before falling into the middle 20s C (near 80 F) for the early evening.

BC Place Stadium has a retractable roof but its closure will not provide much relief from the warmth.
According to its official website, "BC Place should be considered an ‘open-air' stadium whether the roof is open or closed, and guests are encouraged to dress accordingly, based on the temperature outdoors."
