The 1934 Central America Hurricane was one of the deadliest hurricanes
on record. Thousands of people were killed as torrential rain led to
flooding and mudslides across Central America, particularly Honduras.
The storm eventually made landfall in Louisiana leading to more flooding
and damaging winds. The storm even influenced very heavy rain in
Florida.
