Following storms to start the week, instead of cooler air sweeping in, the weather pattern will deliver weather conditions more typical of July to Pittsburgh.
Pacific style air will move in at midweek, while sunshine goes to work on the not-so-cool air mass.
Those wanting summer weather will get their wish as the warmth will stick around, although no lasting heat waves are in the offing.

Temperatures are forecast to reach the 80s on multiple days this week. The combination of intense sunshine, temperature, humidity levels and other conditions will push AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures toward the 90-degree mark in the afternoon hours Thursday and Friday.
Nighttime lows will be mainly in the 60s.
Above-average temperatures will settle in for an extended stay, following unusually cool conditions during the first week of June. During early June, temperatures averaged nearly 2 degrees Fahrenheit below normal as opposed to the 5-8 degrees Fahrenheit above average forecast for the middle days of the month.
The weather will bring an opportunity to hit the beach or visit the pool. Ice cream vendors should do quite well during the pattern. Highs are forecast to generally range from the upper 70s to the upper 80s through the Independence Day weekend. Given the right conditions a few days may touch 90 during the period.
